Prior to Mont Fort Education Partners, Sir Ivor was Chairman of Copperfield Education, the world’s first ski-in, ski-out International Baccalaureate school, located in Verbier, Switzerland.
Sir Ivor’s career in Education is long and notably includes the Presidency of Trinity College, Oxford. During his 11 years at Oxford, he and Hugh began working together.
In his 38 year career in the UK Foreign Office, Sir Ivor held senior diplomatic and ambassadorial posts abroad in Belgrade, Dublin, Rome, Canberra and Madrid, where he chaired King’s Schools, a group of 8 international schools with over 8,000 students and 650 staff. He is Editor of the leading global text on diplomacy, Satow’s Diplomatic Practice, published by Oxford University Press.
Prior to Mont Fort Education Partners, Hugh founded, operated and successfully exited Copperfield Education, the world’s first ski-in, ski-out International Baccalaureate school, located in Verbier, Switzerland.
Before Copperfield, Hugh worked in investment banking at UBS and principal investment at Macquarie in London. Hugh taught at Harrow and Sevenoaks schools and at the University of Oxford, where he spent 7 years and received a First Class BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, and an MPhil and DPhil in Politics. While founding Copperfield, he received an MPhil with Distinction in Educational Leadership from the University of Cambridge.
Prior to Mont Fort Education Partners, Hadi worked with emerging markets private equity fund managers across a 15 year career with strong focus on operational value creation for portfolio companies holding several steering committee posts and board memberships.
Prior to private equity, Hadi started his career with JP Morgan and UBS Investment Bank in London focused on Telecom Media and Technology, where he met Hugh. Hadi holds an MSc in Financial Engineering from Imperial College London.
